The Conservapedia editor who whittled my entry on the American Decency Association down to a twig last month is quite proud of being recognized for his efforts.

They’re very quick to pull the trigger over there. I posted a troll entry (mostly-accurate info presented in an incredibly slanted fashion) — before I could get a second edit in it was taken down as vandalism. Not even a chance to add references, no effort to correct it. (I even had a username — a famous early 20th century socialist labor activist — that was a guaranteed indicator that I was there to stir up trouble, and the admin who whacked me didn’t even recognize it.)
People give Wikipedians a bad rap for being control freaks and rules lawyers (and I admit it can be a problem), but at least there’s some restraint and process there. Conservapedia appears to be bordering on a free-for-all.
Somehow it strikes me as funny that an admitted creationist is calling for people to clean up their grammar. I suppose well-written antiscience is easier on the eyes than poorly written antiscience.
Please, people, it’s spelled Conservapaedia!
