Anti-materialism in the 21st century

A woman in Minnesota is tired of her possessions, so she’s getting rid of everything but her pets, photos and some clothes.
I think it’s funny that this person, who may explore the possibility of becoming a holistic healer, is selling her stuff on E-Bay rather than simply having a garage sale, putting it in the local classifieds, or trucking it down to the local Goodwill Industries. Hers is the most high-tech way imaginable of going minimalist, and hearkens to the day when street panhandlers are equipped to process credit cards.

She’s apparently donating money collected over the reserve price to an Army corporal who died in Iraq:

I take it that her healing services will be provided for free and good Karma.
