I don’t know why I ever subscribed this e-mail list, because I never monitored what the group, such as it was, had in store or what up to. But I got a chuckle today’s missive.
In order to raise some critically needed funds, heavily due to our current personal financial crisis, we have decided (albeit reluctantly) to put the Stop the ACLU domain up for sale. We ask that anyone interested in making a serious offer to purchase it contact me at my Yahoo mail account firstname.lastname@example.org. We only want folks who are financially prepared to make a bonafide offer and do something beneficial with the website.
The information is also posted as the top item on the StoptheACLU.org website.
If you know someone who might wish to pick up our domain but who is not in the Stop the ACLU database, please forward this e-mail to them.
Again, only serious folks need inquire about making such a bid.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
In the meantime, I will endeavor to respond to the many of you who wrote your kind wishes and thoughts in last month’s e-mail. I have read some of them and I intend to follow thru with all of them in due course. Your expressions of love and support are ones I cherish and will never forget in the 4 years we’ve run this site. It will always be in my heart that America needs to stop the actions and antics of the ACLU.
And as I noted in that e-mail, those of you who wish to maintain contact with me can do so at the Yahoo account above.
Thank you again and I wish each of you and yours a joyous Christmas season. May God hear our prayers.
Kindest Regards & Blessings,
Director, Stop the ACLU Coalition
Any takers out there?
By the way, stoptheaclu.org is not to be confused with stoptheaclu.com, a group blog and an incredibly crank- and redneck-driven amalgam of wrongheaded shitbursts. It’s basically a merry-go-round full of Gribbits (in fact, he cross-posts there, or did last I knew).
