And, not to be outgunned in terms of stubitterty…

…one final, pre-inauguration visit to Gribbit’s Word is a great opportunity for a paternal chuckle at an angry gasbag’s expense.
His latest post is titled “Any Liberal Successes Can Be Linked to ‘Hive’ Mentality,” is essentially a reposting of an irrelevant and witless essay by someone named Joe and including wonderfully ironic “insights” like this:

The Hive especially hates anti-Communism and traditional Christianity … “Civil rights,” feminism, environmentalism, national health care, gun control, and abortion on demand may not seem intrinsically related, but they all extend the authority and power of the centralized state over private relations … liberal bees consistently pretend that they favor this or that measure for purely practical reasons. But the pattern is clear. What they really favor is a state that is both limitless and godless.

That’s right; Christianity is not at all about ideology, obeisance, the forced acknowledgment of a central authority, and power grabs, and instead encourages free thought and fresh ideas. It’s no wonder that Gribbit loves this piece of trash; it’s not only duly hypocritical and free of substance, but it’s also full of seductive and ominous buzzwords like “Marxism” and “communism” he can sink those cool bulldog teeth into.
At least the Grib acknowledges that this hive mentality has indeed bred successes. The parallel phenomenon among Gribbitian types, paralyzed as they are by proud and strident resistance to learning about of even defining what it is that riles them so much, leads to nothing but the blithe disseminaton of lies. Witness this recent debacle of a post by Gribbit, in which he links to an article that undermines his own position without him having any idea that it does so or why. He and his ilk treat the Worldnut Daily, Fox News, and Michelle Malkin’s blog as credible sources of information and leak continually to their Web pages and articles, all the while bursting with indignation over the pack mentality of the friggin’ libtards. These people are plain hapless.
But that post is nothing compared to the one Gribbit unveiled the other day, titled “Obama Hitler Comparison Strengthened.” I think there’s supposed to be a hyphen in there somewhere, but never mind that–the essay is pure pyrite.
First, Gribbit introduces the next president as “Barry/Barack ‘don’t mention my middle name until the inauguration or I’ll accuse you of fear mongering and racism’ Hussein Obama/Soetoro/Obama.” Gribbit doesn’t actually link to any quotes from Obama establishing that he has said what Gribbit freely attributes to him, but tat aside, I’m always intrigued by the “accuse me of racism because I hate niggers” approach these idiots employ. Do they think that by making their poor reasoning even more explicit that they can then dispense of it without anyone noticing–a sort of twisted-logic, pre-emptive strike? Maybe. I guess we’re just supposed to think that right-wingnuts have not been using Obama’s middle name for purposes of fear-mongering and that they just like the ring it has. This level of daftitude is just criminal.
Next are observations like these:

I predict the elimination of the Boy Scouts a move long sought after by liberals in this nation. Hitler did this and created his Hitler Youth. We are already seeing signs of this happening without Herr Obama dissoving [sic] the scouts.
What’s next? Who will be the scapegoat. Will it be Jews again? With questions remaining about Herr Obama’s Islamic past left unanswered perhaps. Or maybe it will be all people who resist forced conversion to the religion of pieces. Maybe the Islamic angle is all wet and Obamaramadingdong has been truthful about his religious conversion. But rest assured there will be some sort of scapegoat and my money is on anyone who has annual incomes in excess of $250,000. That is of course exempting members of his inner circle.

Great. “I predict” is always convincing as a means of supporting the comparison to a democratically elected president to a genocidal maniac. And I suppose “Herr Obama’s Islamic past” is just as divorced from scare-mongering and name-calling as Gribbit assured up front.
If this guy is as upset as he sounds, he should take a sledgehammer to his keyboard, his monitor, his CPU and his head, in no particular order (there will be no effective loss of information regardless). I’m just disappointed I didn’t see the comparisons to Adolf Hitler coming; limitless stupidity implies plumbing boundless depths of startlingly bad and crass comparisons. And I’m loving every drop.

Th only truly useful thing I learned in the Boy Scouts was how to tie a bowline. Other than that, pretty much a waste of time (and that was before it came under the control of the Mormons). Camping and boating skills I learned elsewhere.

Wow… what fuckin’ insight! Simply amazing! I wonder how he came up with that number. Perhaps it was divine intervention?

I wonder if the gribbtard sees any irony in accusing others of hive mentality when he has disabled his comments because he doesn’t like his ideas challenged. And I use “ideas” in the loosest possible sense.

Gribbit’s list of liberal examples of increased government control confuse me. How is allowing women to get abortions an example of the government getting more control?
On a related note, I wonder if Gribbit is in favor of anti-sodomy laws or not…

Oh, Gribbit has made his views on The Gay pretty clear in the past.
Here’s an example of him having an extra-bad blogging day.

I hate to do this to you Kevin but it looks like Gribbit has a Twitter page.
    http://twitter.com/Gribbit
And I wonder if his attitude about the state providing less fortunate people with a safety net has changed now that he has a daughter with Spina bifida?

His views on government entitlements probably haven’t changed as a result of his daughter’s unfortunate birth defect, because by the time she arrived he himself was already on SSDI for social anxiety, something he blogged about and deleted in fairly short order.
I’m not making light of this condition, but it strikes me as incoherent to the point of insanity that a person thus stricken would choose to spend all of his ample free time writing government-subsidized rants about the evils of politicians more apt to favor government subsidies for mental-health issues.

I spotted my first “Obama is Hitler” post all the way back in last September http://www.spinneyhead.co.uk/2008/09/barack-obama-adolf-hitler.php There’s no link to the original in my post, which probably means it was on Stop the ACLU- maybe even by Gribbit himself. As they were deleting my comments at the time for being full of logic I decided they didn’t deserve any Google juice.

“liberal bees consistently pretend that they favor this or that measure for purely practical reasons”
Gasp! Liberals favor things that actually work instead of assuming that something will work based on ideology, even if the evidence doesn’t support it. How terrible!

Dammit mgordon, you made me go and start a Twitter conversation with the fool! He’s called me a dipsh*t (can’t even bring himself to spell it properly) and told me not to get involved in his country’s politics- one of those demands used when these guys know they’re losing the argument.
I’m working a night shift at the moment and this is keeping my sleep deprivation addled brain amused.
