The John Salvi phenomenon

I shouldn’t even mention this piece of shit, but his story is inescapable.

In 1994, when I was in grad school, a New Hampshire resident named John Salvi took his “pro-life” convictions to the highest level, and shot dead two workers at abortion clinics in Brookline, Massachusetts (just outside of Boston). He wasn’t done; they had to scoop him up in Norfolk, Virginia the next day, when he was trying to shoot other people.

Here’s the weird thing. Salvi died in prison of a a “suicide” that was obviously anything but, and a judge actually overturned his conviction.

These people are invariably poisoned by Christ, and anyone who pretends they sit on the fringe needs to take a strong look at what the middle amounts to.
